Wusthof's Gourmet chef knife consists of Wusthof quality,
however, this line, Gourmet, offers consumers affordability. Wusthof
makes this knife in Germany. The blade is stamped versus the typical
Wusthof 38-step hand forging process done to make the more expensive
collections. Benefit to the consumer: Wusthof has made an excellent
chef knife for the money.
To sharpen: Use a sharpening steel or an electric
sharpener
