Wusthof Classic Knives

With a complete selection of kitchen knife offerings, Wusthof Classic Knives continues to be a chef favorite. From professionals, like Rachael Ray, who chopped, sliced and diced with the Wusthof Classic 7" Santoku hollow edge on the Food Network (before she went to promote her Furi knife line), to home cooks who love the Wusthof Classic Knife line.

And what's not to like? With a cutlery line of over 70-individual pieces, Classic is Wusthof's biggest and most popular series.

How they are made

There is no difference in blade amongst: Wusthof Classic, Culinar and Grand Prix II.

Each knife series is fully forged from high carbon steel blades that hold an edge. The only difference within each series is the handle design. As for Classic, the handles are nice versions of the old-style wooden handle with the exception that the finish and fit is superior to cheaper versions. In addition, the handle material is nearly indestructible: it will not fade, crack or warp.

Some knives to consider: 7" Santoku, the Classic 4 1/2 utility knife, Wusthof 4582/20 8" chef's knife, steak knives and wide 10 inch cooks knife.
